Masculine Birthday Card

I don't know about you, but I find making a masculine card to be a challenge.  Here is a birthday card I made for a male co-worker whose birthday is tomorrow.

  • Cricut Cartridge:  Create a Critter
  • Designer Paper:  My Mind's Eye "Sunshine" 6"x6" pack.
  • Sentiment:  Scrappy Mom's "Hooray for Birthdays"
  • Embossing:  Cuttlebug "Charles" folder.

A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25"
Cricut Create a Critter

Card Recipe:
  • Mat 1 (black) = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8".
  • Mat 2 (checkered) = 5 1/4" x 4".
  • Mat 3 (polka dot border) = 1" x 4 1/8".
  • Mat 4 (black under cupcake) = 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".
  • Mat 5 (yellow checkered under cupcake) = 3" x 3".

  • Cupcake = cut at 2 3/4" from Cricut Create a Critter cartridge; [Cupcake-s] found on page 36 of the folder.  Top of cupcake embossed with Cuttlebug "Charles" folder.  Cupcake is mounted with foam tape.
  • Sentiment "Happy Birthday!" = from Scrappy Mom's "Hooray for Birthdays" stamp set.

Inside of Card:

Thanks for stopping by!  And as I always, I appreciate your comments!
